Hey Seniors! Are you ready to embark on an epic journey to higher education?

The Adams 14 Education Foundation awards scholarships to graduating seniors from Adams County School District 14 for the institution of their choice. We have scholarships available for vocational schools, community colleges, and four year universities - wherever your dreams are taking you! But wait, there's more! These scholarships aren't just your ordinary one-size-fits-all deal. The Foundation is serving up a variety pack, ranging from one-year to four-year scholarships.

¡Hola, estudiantes de último año! ¿Están listos para embarcarse en un viaje épico hacia la educación superior? La Fundación de Educación Adams 14 otorga becas a estudiantes de último año del Distrito Escolar 14 del Condado de Adams para la institución de su elección. Tenemos becas disponibles para escuelas vocacionales, colegios comunitarios y universidades de cuatro años, ¡donde sea que sus sueños los lleven! Pero espere, ¡hay más! Estas becas no son solo una oferta única y común. La Fundación ofrece un paquete variado, que va desde becas de un año hasta becas de cuatro años.

Criteria Criterios

Attend Adams City High School or Lester Arnold High School. 

Commitment to academic excellence with a GPA of 2.75 or higher. 

Service to community, church or family and/or school involvement such as student government or athletics – we want to see your impact!

Financial eligibility, check page 3 for specific scholarship opportunities. PELL eligibility could give you scholarship options.

Complete the application and make sure to include items from the list below:

  • Essays 
  • Recommendation letter including academic achievement and service, and how a scholarship would encourage you to pursue your educational goals.  Please email your recommendation letters to lori.young@adams14.org.
  • School transcript.
  • FASFA/CASFA Report.  We understand that reports may be delayed, please provide an estimate if you do not have your report yet.

  • Parental income proof in form of W-2, 1099, or 1st page of 2022 Federal Tax Return. 

    You will interview with local community leaders.  We'll be asking about your leadership skills, community service, personal and professional goals, unique qualities, and your commitment to continuing your education - it's your chance to shine!

Scholarship application deadline is March 1, 2025. 

This are the scholarships available through the Adams 14 Education Foundation.

  • Adams 14 Education Foundation General Scholarship - $20,000 over four years to a post-secondary school; four year, two year, and technical programs.
  • Adams County COSI Scholarship -  four year scholarship, amount to be determined. Choose if you are PELL Eligible per the State of Colorado and will attend a four year public Colorado Higher Education School.
  • Colorado Mesa University Scholarship - $20,000 over four years to Colorado Mesa University. 
  • Adams State University Scholarship - $20,000 over four years to Adams State University. 
  • Western Colorado University Scholarship - $20,000 over four years to Western Colorado University. 
  • Community College of Aurora Scholarship - $10,000 over two years to Community College of Aurora. 
  • Larry Odle and Bonnie Utley Scholarship - $20,000 over four years at a post-secondary school; four year, two year, and technical programs.
  • Rocky Mountain Recycling Scholarship - $20,000 over four years at a post-secondary school; four year, two year, and technical programs.
  • Suncor Energy Scholarship - $20,000 over four years to pursue a career in science or mathematics.
  • The Deck Superstore Career and Technical Scholarship - up to $5,000 to a CTE certified school, a 12 month to two year AA or certificate program.
  • Ruth Glass Road to Excellence Scholarship - $40,000 over four years. The purpose of this merit based scholarship is to help an immigrant student attend a four-year accredited college in the U.S. 
  • Commerce City Rotary - up to $12,000 for 4 years to a CTE certified school, a 12 month to two year AA or certificate program. Please note that there is an additional application to fill out for this  scholarship.

Employee Access, Training and Expectations -- Our organization values, ethical standards, policies and practices are committed to the protection of user information. In general, our business practices limit employee access to confidential information, and limit the use and disclosure of such information to authorized persons, processes and transactions.
  10. How Can You Access and Correct Your Information? You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us using the contact form provided to you within the site structure of our website.
  11. Do We Disclose Information to Outside Parties? We may provide aggregate information about our customers, sales, website traffic patterns and related website information to our affiliates or reputable third parties, but this information will not include personally identifying data, except as otherwise provided in this privacy policy.

We are grateful for your donation and support of our organization. If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to our organization please contact us. Refunds are returned using the original method of payment. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.
