TEACHER GRANTS
Our vision is for every teacher in Adams 14 School District to have access to financial resources to innovate education in their classrooms.
Adams 14 Education Foundation partners with Commerce City’s public and private businesses to provide funding for innovative educational teacher grants in the Adams 14 School District.
Welcome, Adams 14 Educators!
We’re so glad you’re here! The Adams 14 Education Foundation is proud to support the incredible work you do every day. We love seeing teachers reflecting on what students need and coming up with creative, impactful solutions. We’re here to help bring those ideas to life. Our grant application is open throughout the month of August. We’re excited to hear what you’ve come up with.
Eligibility:
- All Adams 14 educators may apply
- Preference may be given for first-time recipients
- Apply during the Fall window
What to Include in Your Application:
- Think about what needs you’re addressing and which academic standards align with it. Then, tell us exactly how you plan to meet that need, and include specific links to the items you’re requesting.
- Because all approved items are purchased and delivered by the Foundation, please double-check details like item descriptions, sizing, quantities, and vendor links before submitting your application.
Reporting Requirement:
If you receive a grant, please complete a brief end-of-year report to share how your project went. Photos of your project in action are required—we love seeing your students engaged in meaningful learning experiences! Only applicants who complete the reporting process will be eligible for future funding.
STORIES FROM OUR TEACHERS
“In just four months, my students advanced from Grade 1 to Grade 2 literature! They not only joined my class—but stayed—because learning felt like play. The equipment we were able to purchase made the environment so comfortable and enjoyable that it kept them coming back.”
“Our students gained access to high-quality violins, guitars, and expert instruction—resources they would not have had otherwise. This project empowered them to meet key Colorado State Music Standards in expression, creation, and cultural response. They grew in confidence, performed publicly, and found joy in music. It was a transformative experience that proved the power of partnership in delivering meaningful arts education to underserved communities.”
“My PE class was transformed into a space where every student—especially those in our SSN program—felt seen, included, and empowered. With adaptive equipment like scooters and multi-level hoops, students could participate in ways that suited their needs. Watching them self-select gear, advocate for themselves, and build empathy through activities like Paralympic sports was incredible. PE became a place of joy and belonging, and this experience has inspired me to keep innovating so that every child feels valued.”
