Our vision: Every Commerce City public, private, business, and non-profit organization will work together to advance community leadership development in Commerce City.

LEADERSHIP COMMERCE CITY

Leadership Commerce City is a local civic leadership development program that cultivates knowledgeable, engaged, and connected community leaders in Commerce City, Colorado. Leadership Commerce City aims to:

Develop leadership skills among emerging and established community members
Build knowledge of key issues facing Commerce City, including education, government, economic development, public safety, and community services
Foster connections between participants, local leaders, and institutions
Promote civic engagement by encouraging graduates to serve on local boards, volunteer, and take active roles in the community

BECOME A PARTNER

Leadership Commerce City partners with nonprofit organizations, government and businesses to provide a behind the scenes experience for community leaders to learn about Commerce City. We are looking for partners to give us access to presenters, tours and participants. Please email lori.young@adams14.org to become a Leadership Commerce City partner.

APPLY FOR THE PROGRAM

Leadership Commerce City is a 10 month program. Classes are the first Friday of the month, September through June. The application cycle is June – August, followed by interviews. To receive information about the application process, email lori.young@adams14.org.
